Dallas Airport - Interesting facts

In just over 24 years Dallas Fort Worth, which serves two major cities in the State of Texas, achieved international status and is now the country's fourth busiest airport and fifth in the world. It has five terminals and seven runways. Future plans include an eighth runway. Dallas is the home of American Airlines.

Dallas Airport Car Hire

Dallas Tower The Rental Car Center is located near the south entrance of the Airport and is served by 10 major companies.

After collecting your baggage, follow the Rental Car signs to the designated pick-up area on the lower level of the terminal.

From there, board the Rental Car shuttle bus. Buses depart every five minutes and reach the Rental Car Center in approximately 10 minutes.

Dallas Airport Taxis

Taxi service is available on the upper level of Terminals A, B, C and E, and on the lower level of Terminal D. For assistance, please locate the Airport Ground Transportation employees wearing a white Airport shirt.

The Central Queue telephone number is 972 574 5878. Fares to downtown Dallas are approximately $40 (U.S.). Fares to downtown Fort Worth are approximately $43 (U.S.).

Terminal A - American Airlines serves Terminal A.
Terminal B - American Eagle and United Airlines serve Terminal B.
Terminal C - American Airlines serves Terminal C.
Terminal D - Air Canada, American Airlines, American Eagle, British Airways, KLM, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Mexicana, Sun Country and TACA serve Terminal D.
Terminal E - AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, Mesa Airlines, Midwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines and US Airways serve Terminal E.
